Policies

Anyone may submit an original article to be considered for publication in Voiceless Shouts provided he or she owns the copyright to the work being submitted or is authorized by the copyright owner or owners to submit the article. Authors are the initial owners of the copyrights to their works (an exception in the non-academic world to this might exist if the authors have, as a condition of employment, agreed to transfer copyright to their employer).

Submitted articles cannot have been previously published, nor be forthcoming in an archival journal or book (print or electronic). Please note: "publication" in a working-paper series does not constitute prior publication. In addition, by submitting material to Voiceless Shouts the author is stipulating that the

materal is not currenty under review at another journal (electronic or print) until the completion of the editorial decision process at Voiceless Shouts. If you have concerns about the submission terms for Voiceless Shouts, please contact us at, info@voicelessshoutsjournal.org

Voiceless Shouts has no general rules about the formatting of articles upon initial submission. There are, however, rules governing the formatting of the final submission. See Final Manuscript Preparation Guidelines for details. 

Authors retain copyright in their work.

Journal articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license, permitting reuse and adaptation with attribution. See our Ethical Reuse & Community Protocols statement, which sets out what we ask of reusers beyond what the license requires.

Voiceless Shouts operates a double-blind peer-review process. Manuscripts are evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise, selected by the Editorial Board for their scholarly qualifications and freedom from conflicts of interest with the submitting author(s). 

Articles published in Voiceless Shouts are fully open access: free to read, download, and share immediately upon publication, with no embargo and no reader-facing fees of any kind.
